It looks like the end is near for one of the best bittorrent client programs. µTorrent was recently bought out by BitTorrent Inc. With BitTorrent creator Bram Cohen in bed with the MPAA, how long before we see Digital Rights Management and backdoor copyright spyware in a future version of µTorrent? I think everyone should turn off automatic updates in µTorrent 1.6 by unchecking "Check for Updates Automatically" under the General Preferences until the bittorrent community has a better idea of the direction µTorrent is going to take.
